National Freelancing Convention

With ever increasing broadband access in the country, Pakistanis are among the top freelancers in the world. The freelancing market in Pakistan has been growing proportionately, and Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) is now introducing a single platform for all the freelancers, bloggers, etc. to come together in a bid to move towards a progressive Pakistan.

National Freelancing Convention (NFC) by PITB is the first time all the freelancing community can come together to explore cross-industry opportunities. The mega event planned for 28th March will comprise of various key stakeholders in the country’s freelancing scene where people can interact to form a unique network.

The event would also feature Tech Expo where freelancers, payment solutions, bloggers, IT companies and all other stakeholders of the relevant industry will be showcasing their products.


NFC will be presenting following sessions at the convention:

  • The Art of Blogging 11:00 am-12 pm
  • Building efficient Gateways for Freelancers 12 pm – 1 pm
  • Women in Tech 2 pm- 3 pm
  • Freelancing to Entrepreneurship; Opportunities and Challenges 3 pm- 4 pm


People from the freelancing world can network in various meetups organized by the NFC and can gain valuable insights from industry leaders. The meetups include:

  • Crossover community meetup
  • Official Behance community meetup
  • Official Payoneer community meetup
  • Facebook Developers Group meetup
  • Open source Pakistan meetup
  • Official WordPress community meetup
  • Official Fiverr Community Meetup

Not limited to that, there will also be some keynote addresses by CM Punjab Shehbaz Sharif, who will also launch e-rozgaar program officially. Other keynote speakers include; Dr. Umar Saif, Mr. SajidM Latif, and Mr. Nayyer Iqbal.
