An entry level budget phone, Nokia 2 by HMD Global, has recently made a brief appearance at a US retailer site B&H Photo Video carrying a price tag of $99, though the price may vary in Pakistan due to duties, taxes and retail trade margins.
Shortly after making an appearance live at the US retailer’s site, the page was taken down. However, traces of the page remained in Google cache; it hasn’t only leaked the price of the phone but also confirmed model number and dual-SIM capabilities of the device.
Information leaked by the source showed that the Nokia 2 with a model number TA-1035 would be out in black color for preorders. Though it isn’t clear if the device will be available in single SIM card slot or not but it will come with two color options i.e. black and white or silver.
Apart from model number and colors, Nokia 2 features Snapdragon 210 or 212. One of the dominant features of the mobile phone is its massive battery of 4000mAh which is quite a lot in comparison to Nokia 3, 5, 6, and 8.
Price leak of Nokia 2 is one of the few rumors we are catching from time to time. Earlier, the design sketch of the phone was leaked by a popular Chinese social media website Baidu. The phone would have 4.7 inches of screen display and a resolution of 1280 x 720.
Now in light of the latest rumors, we know design, specs, and price of Nokia 2 but we don’t know the official release and shipping dates. However, Nokia 2 and Nokia 7 mobile phones were previously rumored to launch at MWC 2018 but as we can see Nokia 7 is here, so we can expect the release of Nokia 2 by the end of this year.
