HMD Global, the Finish company is all for upgrading its last year smartphones. The company has already released Nokia 6 2018, the new flagship device, Nokia 8 Sirocco and is seemingly working on bringing Nokia 5 2018 smartphone.

Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer HMD Global while answering a query on Twitter hinted the smartphone may arrive for the Nokia users.

The tweet though doesn’t give away much but it surely does confirm that the company is working on creating such device. However, Sarvikas fails to mention any specific details about the Nokia 5 2018 like what upgrades can we expect or when the smartphone will arrive for the users.

HMD Global introduced Nokia 5 at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 but it was available in the market later that year, so we can assume that the company will bring Nokia 5 2018 possibly at the end of this month.

The device’s predecessor was a budget smartphone and thus we can assume that the next generation of Nokia 5 will come along the same price boundaries. You can also check out the review of Nokia 5 by clicking here.

The company is also reportedly working towards bringing Nokia X smartphones which like many other Android devices this year will come with an iPhone X-inspired notch at the top.
