HMD Global is going all in with its frequent releases of mid-range as well as flagship smartphones. The company aims to capture maximum share in the market which is why the recent mid-range offering Nokia X6 has been launched internationally in various markets as the Nokia 6.1 Plus.
After the recent launch of the said device in India, our sources tell us that the company is preparing to launch the phone in Pakistan in the first week of the September.
It is the first phone from the company to have the trendy notch in its display however the notch is not as big as the iPhone’s. Nokia 6.1 Plus is a midrange offering, therefore, it is safe to assume that it will rival the phones in the same category as the Xiaomi Redmi S2 and the Huawei P20 Lite.
As for the specs the handset sports a 5.8-inch full-HD+ display, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM.
The Nokia 6.1 Plus bears a dual rear camera setup, with a 16MP+ 5MP. The rear camera features a dual tone flash. Nokia 6.1 Plus offers a 16MP selfie camera with a f/2.0 aperture for all the selfie lovers out there.
The phone hosts a 64GB internal memory that is expandable up to 400GB via a microSD card. The phone also hosts a 3.5mm headphone jack and a 3060 mAh battery that can be charged via USB Type-C port.
The phone is said to carry a price tag of approximately $340 in Pakistan, which can be roughly translated to Rs. 41,500. However, this price may vary according to the currency exchange rate.
