Nokia 6 finally launched with Android Nougat, 5.5-inch HD display

Nokia 6 Smartphone

If you still miss the Nokia mobile phones, then there is a good news for you as Nokia has finally launched its Android smartphone but the company has used another brand name on this device. We had already reported earlier in November that Nokia was in talks with HMD Global – a Finnish company, and now, the company has licensed this brand for its smartphones. Nokia 6 features a 5.5-inch HD display and it has powerful 4G connectivity options, it comes with 16MP primary camera with auto-focus for taking high quality pictures.

The company has added an 8MP camera on the front for selfies. The device packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.

Nokia 6 is a dual SIM smartphone with a fingerprint scanner, the users were expecting this device to be launched at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) but Nokia has launched it at the CES 2017. The device is powered by a 3000mAh battery.

Nokia has not announced when this device will be available in the market. This latest device by Nokia is the sign that the company is coming back into the industry. Ten years ago, Nokia was the best mobile phone company and almost every mobile user had used its handsets in the past. We should see if this latest Nokia device can compete with other major smartphones in the market.

There are some reports that Nokia will introduce another device (Nokia 150) in Pakistan in 2017,  the new handset will be the same as the Nokia 216. The company is also working on smartwatches, which will be launched very soon.
