Just when we thought HMD Global is done with the smartphone launches of this year, it struck back by bringing the Nokia 7 for the people.
The company has launched Nokia 7, a mid-range Android smartphone in China. We previously knew that the device was in the pipeline and it was reported that the company might unveil it at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018.
Key Specifications of Nokia 7
- Display: 5.2 inches 1080p IPS LCD display
- Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 630
- Storage: 64GB or 128GB
- RAM: 4GB or 6GB
- Cameras: 16MP back and 5MP front camera
- Battery: 3000 mAh
- OS: Android 7.1.1 Nougat
- Price: $377 or $400 (depending on the variant)
The design of the device is very different from the previous models as it supports a glass back and the aluminum with diamond-cut beveled edges make the handset look like any premium smartphone.
Nokia 7 is splash-proof and supports a Zeiss imaging that supports the company’s new Bothie feature where a user can take a picture using the front and back camera simultaneously. Bothie first appeared in Nokia 8, the company’s first flagship device.
HMD Global hasn’t given any indication yet about the launch of the smartphone in other countries. Well now when anything is possible, we wonder if the company will bring out the big gun, Nokia 9 before the end of 2017 as well?
