Less than two weeks are left before the big unveiling event that will finally give us a glimpse of Nokia’s flagship smartphone, Nokia 8.

The smartphone is slated to launch on 16th August and now several media reports suggest that it will be supporting the latest Android operating System, Android O.

Till now, the company has been pretty successful with its new series smartphones Nokia 3, 5 and 6 that were revealed earlier this year at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017.

If the news is true, Nokia 8 would be the first phone that will be powered by the Android O. For those who for some reason are not well informed about the Nokia phones, the smartphones do not have any Skin/UI rather they offer stock Android.

According to Muhammad Kamran Khan, Country Head for HMD Pakistan & Afghanistan, Nokia phones will provide the true Android experience to its customers. A few days back, we have seen the leaked images of Nokia 8 in Copper Gold color that looks very much like the earlier renders of the smartphone.

Following the rekindled relationship between Nokia phone s and Zeiss, it was revealed that the flagship smartphone will feature dual camera by Carl Zeiss optics.

The smartphone is expected to come with 5.3-inch QHD screen, Snapdragon 835 processor, 13Mp dual cameras, 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
