Last year, HMD Global brought back the long-loved Nokia brand of smartphones for the users and managed to outsell the big brands including HTC, Sony, and Google. This year, the company has already released Nokia 6 (2018) and according to Nokia Power User, the company will also introduce Nokia 8 Pro as well.

Codenamed Nokia 8 Sirocco, the smartphone is a high-end variant of the company’s first flagship device Nokia 8. Nokia 8 Pro is rumored to come with Snapdragon 845 which will be an improvement from Nokia 8 as it features Snapdragon 835.

The smartphone will also reportedly come with an improved camera. Nokia 8 Pro is rumored to feature a rotating, penta-lens dual camera module that rotates to change the camera’s focal length which will resultantly expand the camera’s zoom range.

Apart from the chipset and camera, the device will have a 3D glass at the front and back, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and 18:9 screen aspect ratio.

HMD Global hasn’t disappointed the Nokia fans yet and has successfully capitalized on the Nokia brand name. We hope that the company informs us more about the new device at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018, one of the largest tech event of this year that will kick off at the end of February.
