Nokia to regain its former glory; brand grows 56% to €4.4billion

Nokia, the household name when it comes to the cellular phones, is back with a bang. This year the company has introduced its three android smartphones; Nokia 3, 5 and 6 and a revived 3310, which will soon arrive in the Pakistani market.

According to Brand Finance, Nokia has bounced backed from its misfortunes and has become Finland’s strongest, most valuable and fastest growing brand. In 2014, the company’s brand value sunk to €1.5 billion, but is now on the road to recovery. Brand Finance is a business valuation consultancy who advises the organizations about maximizing their value by effectively utilizing their assets.

Through its partnership with HMD Global, which holds the exclusive license to use the Nokia’s brand name for smartphones, the company is again making waves in the smartphone world. In 2017, the company’s brand valued has increased by 56% to €4.4billion.

The anticipation for the launch of its phones is evident from the fact that people are willing to show their love for the legendary mobile phone brand through their fashion choices. Recently, a Dubai-based fashionista designed a reversal Nokia cape.

Mr. Per Ekman, Vice President HMD Global (The Middle East & North Africa) visited Karachi last March and relayed that the company would be releasing the smartphones in June this year in Pakistan. The prices of the new smartphones have been revealed, which indicates that the phones aren’t just amazing but are affordable as well.
