The Live mania created by Facebook is soon to come to the Twitter app where users can stream live without using Periscope. On Wednesday the company in a blog post revealed:
“Live video is the most immersive way to experience what’s happening around the world…we’re making it easier for you to broadcast live video – straight from Twitter,”
— Twitter (@twitter) December 14, 2016
Anyone can go Live with just a few easy steps:
- Compose a Tweet
- Tap “LIVE.”
- Frame your shot in pre-broadcast screen
- Press “Go Live” to start the broadcast
The statement also added that once a user is live, anyone on the mini-blogging site and Periscope can join their live video and participate in their experience
The update will be soon available to everyone according to the official statement and will be accessible on Android and iOS. The users watching a live video can post comments and send hearts to show love and support by simply tapping the screen. The feature is quite similar to that of Facebook Live.
The social media platform is the main stage for the live happenings around the globe providing the user all the trending events in their own region and also worldwide. The Go Live feature will enable the users to share live video with what is happening around them.
