Oppo A81 and Oppo A71 2018

Oppo A83 after it was launched in China last month, is making its way to the Pakistani market. The company has confirmed this news on Twitter in a not so cryptic message.

One of the interesting things about the Oppo A83 smartphone is that it has completely ditched the fingerprint scanner in the favor of its Face Unlock feature. According to the company, its facial recognition feature can track 128 unique feature points of the user’s face and can thus unlock the device within 0.18 seconds.

Oppo A83 offers the trendy full screen or edge-to-edge display with 18:9 aspect ratio and very thin bezels. Additionally, the new device will come pre-loaded with its AI Beauty Recognition technology to enhance group and selfie shots taken by the user. We first saw this tech in action at the launch of Oppo F5 last year. Following are the different specs of the new Oppo A83.

  • Display: 5.7 inches
  • Screen Resolution: 720 x 1440 pixels
  • Processor: MediaTek MT6763T Helio P23
  • RAM: 3GB
  • Internal Storage: 32GB
  • Rear Camera: 13MP
  • Front Camera: 8MP

The company also plans to introduce the 2018 edition of Oppo A71 in Pakistan which will also feature the new AI Beauty Recognition technology, 13MP rear camera, 5.2 inches HD screen, 2900mAh battery.
