A few weeks after Vivo introduced its pop-camera phone in Pakistan, OPPO has stepped up to throw its new mid-range device OPPO F11 Pro to stir up the smartphone market. In this time period when the bezel-less display is all the rave, pop-up front cameras have emerged as the solution for providing the entirety of display to the user.
OPPO has taken quite a leap forward in its F series with its new device. The smartphone stands out from the rest due to its beautiful display and unique design. We had the pleasure of getting our hands on the device some time before the official launch and before we give our detailed review to the audience, let’s see our first impressions of the device.
Design & Display
One look is enough to fell in love with this smartphone. OPPO F11 Pro features eye-catching beauty not just because of the glossy finish and premium look but due to the gradient design which employs nano printing technology.
What’s more impressive is that even with the glass body, you feel as though the phone has a glass back which is definitely something that will win over the hearts of many users; we know it stole ours. At the same time, the user will have to keep the back cover on phone otherwise Oppo F11 Pro will be covered in fingerprint smudges.
We have Oppo F11 Pro in Thunder Black color and the gradient color goes from blue to black to purple colors, making it too aesthetically pleasing to the eyes.
Looking at different placements on the device, we can see that the dual cameras are present in the top middle and a fingerprint sensor lies beneath it which is quite within the reach of the user.
On the right side, we have the power button as well as the SIM slot which can house one SIM card and a MicroSD card as well.
On the left side, we only have a volume rocker.
It’s disappointing to see a Micro USB charging slot at the bottom of the smartphone as it is high time that mid-range phones come with USB Type C port. There is also a headphone jack and a single speaker at the bottom.
At the top, we can see the place of pop-up camera which will only appear when you are taking selfies in the camera app. The smartphone is on the heavier side and it will be best to use it with two hands.
Oppo F11 Pro comes with a huge 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with of 1080×2340 pixels of screen resolution. Without any notch and cut out, we can see a beautiful bezel-less screen which will be plus point for the users who prefer watching videos or playing games on their smartphone.
Performance & Battery
Oppo F11 Pro is power packed with Mediatek Helio P70 coupled with a massive 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It also comes with Mali-G72 MP3 GPU which shows will help the user to play heavy games with ease on this device.
It also packs a 4000mAh battery that will support the user by providing a long-lasting battery life. Just like Realme 3, it comes with ColorOS 6 based on Android Pie but we can guess that it will be better optimized than the one present on the budget device.
While looking at the specs sheet, we can see that Oppo F11 Pro is quite a powerful beast and we cannot wait to test it further for our detailed review.
OPPO F11 Pro has not given into the triple camera sensation and comes with a dual camera system with a main 48MP sensor and 5MP depth sensor.
For selfies, the company has offered a 16MP pop-up camera that doesn’t make the user wait too long to appear.
OPPO has for long has positioned itself to be the selfie expert and has put a lot of stress on the capabilities of the 48MP camera, so we cannot wait to see the gadget in action in our review.
OPPO has never failed to pique the interest of the users with its smartphones and OPPO F11 Pro is no exception. The smartphone is an absolute beauty and the top-notch specs sheet is a honey trap for all those people that want a powerful smartphone that will not burn a hole through their pocket
