The Chinese smartphone maker is bent on proving itself and getting ahead of the giants of the smartphone industry by releasing one of the most premium phones of the year, Oppo Find X.
Besides that, F series by Oppo contains selfie oriented mid range phones in which the latest offering is Oppo F7 which was released in March this year. However, it may be too soon but the company is said to launch its successor, Oppo F9 in August.
Early rumors suggested that the company was working on the Oppo F9 but now it has been confirmed to some extent as some new models have recently got their Bluetooth certification which strengthens our speculation that the phone may launch sooner than you think.
The devices are listed with the model numbers CPH 1823, CPH 1825, CPH 1881 of which the CPH 1823 might be the Oppo F9 Pro. Other than that, the F9 is mentioned two times which may be a hint that it will come in different variants.
Moreover, the company has also released a teaser for the phone which shows that the phone will be getting a dual camera setup which lacked on the F7.
Furthermore, the Chinese phone maker has always insisted on its F series as the selfie-centric phones and while its predecessor hosted a 25MP AI enabled selfie camera, it can safely be assumed that the Oppo F9 will have an updated front camera.
The specs are int he mist for now but since Oppo may be updating the camera setup of the phone, it is hard to predict whether F9 will also come with an upgraded chipset or will run on the same (MT 6771) MediaTek Helio P60 chip.
Stay tuned for the lastest updates about Oppo’s next phone.
