As of now, Oppo has a solid and growing list of quite amazing phones. From the budget offering, the A3s, to the ultimate flagship Find X, the company has a lot of options on its shelves in almost every category. The Chinese manufacturer is also reportedly working on the Oppo F9, the successor to this year’s F7.
A Chinese publication, ITHome, recently leaked some key specifications of the Oppo F9. According to the leaked list of specs, the phone will come equipped with the same processor as its predecessor.
Thus, instead of a Qualcomm chip, it will come with a MediaTek Helio P60 which is the first Artificial Intelligence enabled chip from the Taiwanese company.
The phone will come with a 6.3-inch display with FHD+ resolution. The mention of ‘Tear Dropa Monitor” shows that the phone will sport a small notch just like we saw in the Oppo R17 renders. It seems that the Oppo is minimizing the notch size as much as possible for all of its upcoming phones.
The report claims that the upcoming smartphone will be available in two color options -Red Sun and Blue Twilight.
Other than that, the phone will come with a dual rear camera of 16MP + 2MP with f/1.85 aperture and a front-facing 25MP single camera with f/2.0 aperture.
Under the hood, other than MediaTek Helio P60 processor, Oppo F9 will carry 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage which will be powered by a 3500mAh battery. The phone had also got Bluetooth certification, which showed that it may come in different variants in terms of memory. A Pro version is also tipped to be launched along with the regular Oppo F9.
