The latest premium offering from the Chinese manufacturer, Oppo Find X Lamborghini edition, which is a luxury version of the Find X, went on sale in China for the first time and it set a sales record that tops any of the previous Oppo smartphones.
Priced at 9,999 Yuan, which roughly converts to $1,460, the phone was sold out within just 4 seconds.
The phone doesn’t only have Lamborghini’s logo slapped on the back panel but also comes with a special retail box and the included case, charger with braided cable, and a pair of earphones, all Lamborghini-branded.
The phone comes with a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ OLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display is the major highlight of the phone and makes it the world’s first phone to come with a screen to body ratio of impressive 93.8%. Under the hood, the Oppo Find X Lamborghini Edition is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor paired with 8GB RAM and 512GB internal storage.
As for the optics, the smartphone comes with a dual camera setup that consists of 16MP + 20MP sensors on the back with OIS and AI features. On the front, there’s a 25MP for taking selfies. It comes with multiple 3D portrait lighting features and Omoji, inspired by the iPhone X’s emojis.
Both the front and back cameras are slapped on a slider that pops out just in 0.5 seconds, as the company says.
The smartphone doesn’t have a fingerprint scanner, instead, it comes with 3D face unlock which the company is calling O-Face. Oppo Find X Lamborghini Edition runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with ColorOS on top.
The company is also aiming to change the notch experience by a waterdrop notch style in the upcoming offering, Oppo F9.
