According to the latest data published by the Pakistan Telecommunications Authority, Pakistan has over 55 million 3G/4G subscribers.
As of May 2018, the total 3G/4G subscribers have grown to 55,470,411
As compared to earlier months of the year 2018, we did not see much rapid growth in the expansion of 3G/4G users in the country. By the end of January, we saw over 49 million 3G/4G subscribers which increased to 51.25 million in February, 53.24 million in March and 54.66 million by April 2018.
Zong has maintained its first position with the most 4G subscribers in Pakistan followed by Jazz and then Telenor. Ufone sadly does not offer 4G services to its users. On the 3G front, Jazz still enjoys the top place followed by Telenor, Zong and then Ufone.
There are 150.32 million mobile phone users in Pakistan and the broadband subscribers amount to 58 million by the end of May 2018. Unsurprisingly Jazz is the largest telco in the country with 55.5 million users. Telenor is still at the number two position with 43.5 million users while Zong enjoys the third spot with 30.9 million users. Ufone has a modest number of 20.2 million users in its family and is at the last spot.
