More About Lamborghini Aventador S

The Lamborghini Aventador is an Italian supercar commercialized since the end of 2012, presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 2011, belonging to the Volkswagen group.

In the market, its main rival is a Ferrari, the Ferrari 812 Superfast.

As it usually happens with Lamborghini, the name of the Lamborghini Aventador refers to the world of bullfighting, paying homage this time to a fighting bull bullied in the Plaza de Toros de Zaragoza in 1993.

In 2016 Lamborghini introduced a facelift Lamborghini Aventador under the name Lamborghini Aventador S. In this face-lift, the power was increased, the directional rear axle was introduced, its aerodynamics and tuning were improved and the multimedia system was premiered.

The engine of the Lamborghini Aventador is an atmospheric V12 of 6.5 liters of displacement. The Lamborghini Aventador S develops a power of 740 horsepower and 690 Nm of maximum torque, with a speed of rotation at 8,500 rpm. This power is transmitted to all four wheels by using the automatic gearbox (manual robotic) ISR 7-speed.

The price of the standard Lamborghini Aventador is higher than 380,000 euros, about 150,000 euros above what it would cost a Ferrari 488 GTB and about 100,000 euros higher than what a McLaren 720S costs.
