The Pakistan’s largest music startup, Patari has successfully secured the second place in the Startup World Cup 2016 in Washington DC. Over 1,000 startups participated in the competitions before qualifying for the final world cup. It is a tremendous achievement for Pakistan that our startups have started gaining the worldwide attention.
For those who don’t know, Patari is a website, which offers an extensive collection of Pakistani music organized beautifully in categories. There is also a mobile application, which users can download for free.
Earlier, MORE Magazine talked to the team behind this startup. The team told us that Patari would be a Spotify for Pakistan. Khalid Bajwa, the co-founder of this music app described that Patari would be the music streaming application for Pakistani audiences. He also bragged that it contains the biggest collection of Pakistani music ever assembled.
