After Samsung gave us all a spoiler at the end of its Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 presentation, we cannot wait any longer for 29th March to see what the company has in store for us this time with Galaxy S8 and S8+.
As we reported earlier, the new flagship smartphones by Samsung will be released on April 21st but there is a good news as people can start pre-ordering their Galaxy S8 and S8+ from April 10th. The new S8 is expected to come in two variants Galaxy S8 and S8+ and their rumored specs for the Galaxy S8 and S8+ includes:
- Snapdragon 835
- 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage
- Expandable storage up to 2TB via a microSDXC card slot
- Fingerprint scanner
- 5.8-inch screen for the S8 while the S8+ is said to feature 6.2-inch Infinity Display.
- S8 is reported to have 3250mAh battery while S8+ will likely feature 3750mAh
As for the design, most of us have an idea of how the phone is supposed to look thanks to the leaked images on the internet by BGR. Previously, many people got excited by the Samsung Display’s ad which showed a new smartphone resembling the S8’s design.
The new Galaxy S8 and S8+ are said to be quite similar, apart from battery and screen size. Samsung reportedly will introduce a button for its AI assistant, Bixby and will include fingerprint button inside the display.
