Pak Suzuki has once again increased the prices of its cars in Pakitan. This is the second time in 2018 that the company has imposed a price hike on the Suzuki cars.
The recent increase in price is the part of the repercussions against the devaluation of Pakistani rupee against the US dollars.

These are ex-factory prices of the Suzuki cars and will be applicable from today i.e. 1st March 2018.
At the end of last year, the government owing to the widening current account deficit allowed the devaluation of rupee by 5 percent against dollars. Unfortunately, the auto industry is extremely sensitive to any price depreciation as most of the raw materials used in the automobile manufacturing are imported.
At the beginning of 2018, the price of Suzuki cars including Mehran and WagonR variants experienced the price hike and apparently, they have become quite expensive again. Honda and Toyota also increased the prices of its cars in early January.
