PTI government seems to have completed the initial working on Kamyab Jawan program in the country which is expected to be launched in the coming days.
Prime Minister Imran Khan took the decision to allocate Rs. 200 billion for the project. Usman Dar, the PM’s aide on youth confirmed while talking to ARY that working details have been discussed and soon as the approval comes, the program will be launched that will create job and business opportunities for the young people Pakistan.
Kamyab Jawan program will be launched in collaboration with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (Smeda) to facilitate the young Pakistanis for which Smeda will find top business ventures in the local and international market.
A UNDP’s report indicates that Pakistan’s 29 percent population falls within the age group of 15-29. In order to find out the employment, health, educational and mental status of young people, Usman Dar has already asked Pakistan Bureau of Statistics to initiate National Youth Development Index.
Vocational training will be given to the youth for making them part of society.
Kamyab Jawab program is likely to produce 1 million jobs, however, PTI’s manifesto says to produce 10 million in five years for uplifting country’s economy.
