Pakistan is blessed with amazing local talent but amid all the challenges to survive in the real world, it is seldom lost to the terrors of anonymity. But despite all the challenges we see some platforms that help Pakistanis showcase their talent.
One such platform was provided by QMobile at the Bridal Couture Week 2017 where Ahmed Sultan a new fashion designer in the industry got an opportunity to present his bridal collection.
Ahmed made his debut at one of the biggest fashion shows, sponsored by QMobile. The mobile phone brand has a long-standing tradition of associating itself with all things fashion and glamor.
Talking to MORE about the opportunity presented by QMobile, he revealed that a person needs to submit his/her portfolio to the organizers, which in this case was HUM TV. Ahmed is a graduate of Pakistan Institute of fashion design and London College of Fashion.
The theme of Ahmed’s collection was Kingdom of Allium which received rave reviews from the audience. The highlight of his collection was a embroidered long bridal tail.
QMobile’s bold marketing strategy has always differentiated the company from other mobile phone brands. Recently, it became a title sponsor for Pakistan’s West Indies Cricket Tour, affirming its hands on approach in Pakistan.
The company’s unique initiative of bringing the local talent into the limelight surely brings a vast array of opportunities for people, just like it helped Ahmed launch his brand of fashion in the industry.
