Gandhara industries are on a roll. After introducing a full range of Isuzu D-Max cars in Quetta and Lahore, the company has launched a complete array of Nissan trucks in the country.
The group signed the partnership agreement at the start of the year which gave them exclusive rights to represent Renault heavy-duty and light trucks in Pakistan.
Currently, all the vehicles are being imported as Completely Built Unit (CBU) from Lyon, France. However, Gandhara Industries is constructing Completely Knocked down(CKD) assembly line at its production site located at Port Qasim, Karachi which will enable them to provide locally assembled Renault Trucks by the start of 2020.
The trucks were exhibited in a modest ceremony attended by the notable people from different segments of the society. Complete range of C, K, and D Renault trucks are offered by the company while customers will be offered with more options of selection in upcoming years.
Pakistan is witnessing some extreme growth due to China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Renault is here to provide trucks to tackle such a large scale trade route while offering fuel efficiency, performance, and safety,” said Olivier De Saint Meleuc, Senior Vice President of Renault Trucks International.
He also emphasized that Renault trucks are designed to provide lower maintenance and operational costs to benefit the owners with more profit.
