In love with the Galaxy Note 8 but cannot afford the beautiful device? Well, according to a rumor, there is a cheaper variant coming out soon.
The recently announced Galaxy Note 8 costs an arm and a length with the price tag starting from $930 but apparently, Samsung has a solution to this small problem and there is a possibility that the South Korean giant may introduce a cheaper version with toned down specs.
According to a recent filing with TENNA, the Chinese telecom regulatory agency, Samsung may release Galaxy Note 8 with 4GB of RAM instead of a 6GB present on the standard Galaxy Note 8.
Though there is no name on the listing but the rest of the specs are the same as that of the flagship phablet including; a large 6.3-inch 1,440 x 2,960 Super AMOLED screen, a Snapdragon 835 chipset, IP68 dust and water resistance, a 3,300mAh battery, a dual lens camera, an iris scanner and a microSD card slot.
According to MySmartPrice, this new variant will be cheaper and the sacrifice will result in the reduction from about $80/£60 to $110/£90 in price.
No doubt, the new version would be a welcome addition to the Note family. The standard variant of flagship smartphone offers some amazing features like infinity display, dual cameras etc. and it is yet to be seen what feature will make it to the final cut of the cheaper smartphone.
