Next year, Samsung is planning to release a new generation of its Galaxy A series including Galaxy A8.
According to a leaked user manual, the new Galaxy A8 will have a dual front-facing camera along with the Live Focus feature for selfies.
A YouTube video that was later taken down revealed that the new Galaxy A8 will have a 16MP and 8MP front camera.
The smartphone will also feature a Galaxy S8-like infinity display with 18:9 aspect ratio and minimum bezels. This will not be a surprising move as we have reported previously that the company is thinking about bringing its infinity display in its popular mid-range series.
This year, we saw that the new Galaxy A devices made an appearance in January so it won’t be wrong to assume the same for the upcoming Galaxy A8. Mind you, it is not the same Galaxy A8 that was released in China a couple of years ago and the company might change its name to something else to ease the confusion.
The manual also revealed that the fingerprint sensor will be moved below the rear camera which sadly will not be a dual camera. the device will probably run on Nougat and will be later updated to Oreo.
