The speculations about the release of the flagship Galaxy 8 seem to be never ending but Samsung has announced a new mid-range phone to join the Galaxy ranks soon. The news of Galaxy C5 Pro comes just after two months of Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro’s release, another mid-range smartphone, as Samsung gears up to start the second quarter of 2017 with big releases.
Although the latest Galaxy C5 Pro does not include the new Snapdragon 835 but houses a strong Snapdragon 626 chipset with a powerful Octa-core chip including 2.2 Ghz processors. Android OS 7.0 Nougat will come preinstalled in the set along with a USB Type-C which is considered to be the future of connectors.
C5 Pro features a 5.2 inch Super AMOLED screen with a respectable 1080 X 1920 pixel resolution display. Both the back and front cameras offer a 16-megapixel lens with the rear camera capable of recording videos at a 1080p resolution and miscellaneous capabilities such as a panorama mode.
Galaxy C5 Pro comes with a metallic finish which gives it a premium look and rounded edges make sure the smartphone remains easy to use in spite of the 5.2-inch screen. The fingerprint sensor is mounted on the home button which resides at the front of the smartphone of course, enabling you to operate the Samsung Pay feature.
One of the most notable specifications of Galaxy C5 Pro is an internal memory of 64 GB which is extendable to 256 GB with an SD card. Other important features include a non-removable Li-on 2600 mAh battery, super-fast LTE connectivity and with a 4GB RAM. Galaxy C5 Pro will be available for purchase in three colors namely Lake Blue, Maple Leaf, and Powder Rose.
