Samsung Galaxy Note with no onscreen finger print scanner

Samsung fans are expecting best from the upcoming flagship Galaxy Note 8 because Note 7 was a big trouble to the company’s reputation because of many battery explosions which led to the discontinuity of the phone in the market. So, it is natural for Samsung fans to build high hopes for the Galaxy Note 8.

But alas! there is a sad news, Note 8 has been reported to miss one of the most anticipated and innovative features. Yes, it is the on screen inscribed fingerprint scanner that was referred as the star of the phone.

As per News Naver (via SamMobile), a Samsung Electronics officer said, “We made every effort to install a display-integrated fingerprint sensor on Galaxy Note 8, but we decided not to install it on this strategic phone due to various technical limitations such as security.”

Samsung is reportedly collaborating with other devices to further work on this technology so it can provide better outputs in the future.

Let’s just focus on the bright side and cheer up because Galaxy Note 8 will have other nice features, including a 6.3-inch Infinity Display, a dual rear camera, 12megapixel wide-angle camera and 13MP telephoto lens, an autofocus front-snapper, an iris scanner, and an AI-powered digital voice assistant Bixby to crush Apple’s, Siri.

It has been rumored that the South Korean Company will disclose the Galaxy Note 8 in August before launching it into the market in September. While Apple’s iPhone 8 is extending its release date which may favor Samsung to win the market.
