Samsung to unveil Galaxy S8 with 5-inch display, S8 Plus with 6-inch display

Samsung Galaxy S8 rumors

Samsung is working on two new smartphones, which will be unveiled next year. The company will introduce Galaxy S8 with the display size of 5-inches and Galaxy S8 Plus with the display size of 6-inches. As per the rumors, both the devices will come with curved design and Samsung’s own Artificial Intelligence (AI) assistants.

Samsung has not officially announced or even confirmed for the market release of Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus, but the details of some specs of both the devices have been leaked on the Internet. The rumor mill says that the S8 will be a faster device and it will come with a dual 12MP rear camera with the support of 4K video recording. Moreover, there will be an 8MP selfie camera with the option of face beauty.

Samsung Galaxy S8 will house a massive 6GB RAM, and Snapdragon 830 processor. The S8 Plus is speculated to feature the design similar to the Note 7, which came with a 5.7-inch display. Samsung will do this by continuously cutting the bezels until the screen takes up the whole space of the front of the phone. There will be a 3000mAh battery on the S8, which will come with the fast-charging technology. The tech experts say that there will be no Stylus on the S8 Plus.

Earlier, it was reported that S8 will be introduced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event, but then, Samsung reportedly decided to delay the launch of this phone. Now, Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus are expected to be unveiled at an event in New York in April, next year.

The possible reasons behind this delay could be the fact that the South Korean smartphone manufacturer is working to improve the quality of its batteries. There are also some reports that this company is in talks with LG Chem for purchasing the batteries for its future phones.

The S8 Plus will be an expensive handset and that is because the company is adding a number of new features on this device, which were not featured by any of Samsung’s previous phones. Even after the Note 7 fiasco, most of the fans of Samsung are waiting for the launch of Galaxy S8.
