Samsung cannot catch a break as after being in the limelight for yet another battery issue, Galaxy S8 and S8+ users are complaining about their devices which are randomly waking up without being touched.

Many users have taken their complaint on Samsung’s official forum. One affected user described that even after factory resetting the device and turning off everything from the settings menu, Galaxy S8 woke itself up from lock screen after every 10 seconds.

One customer recorded its experience to share it with the world:

This is no doubt really annoying problem that can lead to a quicker battery drain. Some of the users complained about this issue in June 2017. Another user on Reddit claimed that the device has this issue since the November software update and arises when it is on wireless charging.

Interestingly, in addition to the Galaxy S8 and S8+ users, some Galaxy Note 8 users have also complained about this issue on the company’s forum which makes us worried about the fate of the company’s 2017 flagship smartphones.

Galaxy S8 and S8+ smartphones were introduced by the company in March 2017 alongside the company’s very own digital assistant Bixby and a bezel-less infinity display.

The company after dealing with Note 7 tragedy aimed to move forward last year but the new phablet, Galaxy Note 8 has recently started to cause trouble as it is not charging for customers after it hits 0% charge.

Samsung though has revealed that it is aware of the battery issue, has not yet commented on the malfunctioning of the Galaxy S8 and S8+ devices.
