It has been just a few month since we have witnessed Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ in all its glory and now we have started to get reports regarding the successor of the flagship phones, Galaxy S9.
According to The Bell via The Korea Herald, the upcoming Galaxy S9 will feature the same display as the Galaxy S8. The company apparently has already set up orders for 5.8 and 6.2 inches infinity displays which will be used in the next year’s flagships.
Some people might initially e shocked as to why the company wants to recycle the last year’s innovation but looking at the gorgeous display of the Galaxy S8 and S8+, we know that it doesn’t getter better than this, in a few years give or take.
The next big thing for Samsung would be creating a fingerprint reader within its screen. The company was previously rumored to bring this tech to life this year but sadly, all we got was a fingerprint scanner on the back.
Some reports also claim that the company tried to implement the fingerprint scanner into Galaxy Note 8 display but dropped it when it appeared to be brighter than the rest of the screen.
Samsung is all set to launch its much-awaited Galaxy Note 8 on 23rd August and while it is too early for any Galaxy S9 news, but we’ll make sure to keep you updated.
