Samsung Tab S3 & Galaxy Book MWC

We don’t have any new smartphone from Samsung at MWC 2017 but the company has officially introduced its 5G Network, Samsung Tab S3, Galaxy Book and new VR technology.

Samsung Tab S3

After being a no-show in 2016, Samsung introduces a successor to its tablet. Tab S3 has a metal core with glass back and features a 9.7-inches AMOLED HDR display with 2048 x 1536 pixel resolutions. It is lighter and provides a comfortable holding experience.

Tab S3 packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, 4GB RAM, 32GB storage. It has a 6000mAh battery, AKG quad stereo speakers and also offers Wi-Fi and LTE versions. Tab S3 also includes Android v7 Nougat OS.

One of the major additions Samsung has made to its tablets is its S Pen. Provided in every box, it’s more than a Stylus and offers many great functions other than selecting and copy pasting stuff.

Galaxy Book

Laptop what? Samsung just brought us a new 2 in 1 laptop + tablet experience with its new Galaxy Book. The new Galaxy Book comes in two sizes; 10.6 inches and 12 inches.

The 10.6 inches model features a full HD TFT display. It has a 2.6GHz, 7th Gen Intel Core m3 processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB and 128GB storage options. Users can expand its memory up to 256GB using MicroSD card.

It packs a 30.4W rechargeable battery that the company claims will last for up to 10 hours depending on usage. Like the Tab S3, Galaxy Book can be used with an S Pen stylus.

Meanwhile, the 12 inches model of the Galaxy Book features a 2160 x 1440 Super AMOLED display. It has a 3.1GHz 7th Gen Intel Core i5 processor with either 4GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD, or 8GB of RAM and 256GB SSD. The SSD internal memory makes it a competitor of modern day laptops/notebooks. It packs a 39W battery which promises to be good for up to 10.5 hours.

5G Network

With fully commercial 5G Network, Samsung promises an exciting life in the coming future. Today the company launched its commercial 5G network that promises better commercial network deployments, virtual and augmented reality. The company revealed its optimistic plans for the future where by next year it sees the establishment of Next generation Core, 5G Radio, and 5G Home Router.
