Samsung flagships were just introduced two days ago and the news of Galaxy Note 8 followed soon after. Rumors claim that’s not all from Samsung for the first half of 2017 as a smaller version of the Galaxy S8 is in the making.
It is reported that the research & design is working on the S8 Mini and will go on sale after two weeks of Galaxy S8 and S8+’s first sale activity. With the flagships to go on sale in the third week of April, it is believed the S8 Mini will hit the markets in May.
It is important to note that the Galaxy S8 mini may not be called exactly that as the name if not confirmed yet. The phone will be more affordable according to the source and will be priced at $399 but considering the high-end specs it is likely the phone will cost above $500.
The Mini version of Galaxy S8 will come with Qualcomm’s flagship chip and a 4GB RAM housing the same cameras the S8 and S8+. The display will be a 5.3-inch screen with the same design and a smaller battery as well.
Samsung has yet to confirm the news so fans are advised to take the news with a grain of salt.
