As we reported earlier, Samsung is going to launch its stylus-equipped Galaxy Note 7 today. Tech analysts all around the world are discussing this device. The company will start three events in different cities, i.e., New York City, London, and Brazil at the same time.  Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has been revealed in several leaks already.

With Galaxy Note 7, Samsung is skipping the Note 6. What we know so far is that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will be a high-end phablet with 6GB of RAM, Qualcomm’s blazing fast Snapdragon 820 processor. It will come in four versions with the memory choices of 32/64/128/256 GB of internal memory and the support for the MicroSD card (up to 200GB).

According to the latest rumours, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will come with a power-efficient dual-edge display. Back in 2014, Samsung unveiled Galaxy Note 4 Edge with a single-edge screen, but with the Note 5, the customers did not get any ‘edge display’ version.

A quick comparison of the Galaxy Note 7 with the Galaxy Note 5

If we compare the rumored specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 with the previously unveiled Note 5, there is not any significant difference except the RAM and the processor. The Note 5 featured a 4GB RAM with the Samsung’s very own Exynos processor. Note 7 is supposed to come with a Qualcomm processor.

The battery of the Note 5 was 3000mAh while the expected battery size of Note 7 is 3500mAh. Moreover, Samsung’s Galaxy Note 5 featured a 16MP camera on its back while the Note 7 is expected to come with only 12MP camera. The display size of Galaxy Note 5 was the same as the rumored screen size of the upcoming Note device (5.7-inch).

The fans of Samsung criticized the Galaxy Note 5 for not featuring a microSD slot. Hence, the South Korean smartphone manufacturer will add a MicroSD card slot in the Galaxy Note 7. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 measures 153.2 x 76.2 x 7.6mm while the Note 7 is rumoured to be measure 153.5mm x 73.9mm x 7.9mm.

These are just speculations. The final specifications will be announced today by Samsung at the launch event of the Note 7.
