Samsung accidentally leaks Galaxy S8 Active on its website

Samsung Galaxy S8 Active Version

Samsung may have accidentally revealed its new Galaxy S8 variant named Active. The complete application list of the said smartphone is available on Samsung Knox’s website bearing the model number G892A.

The breathtaking infinity display of Galaxy S8 has kept us all hooked to the device but soon the company will release the tougher version of its flagship smartphone, Active.

As per some previous reports, Samsung has been working on the Galaxy S8 Active in its laboratories and also the smartphone might be exclusively available with AT&T, an American telecom conglomerate.

Because the new smartphone will be rugged in nature, the company will let go the few charming features including infinity display and stylish curved edges.

The Galaxy S8 Active may include a much powerful 4,000 mAh battery and would follow military standard resistance to dust and water. The other significant specifications like RAM storage, display dimensions, and resolution, will remain the same.

This is not the first time the company has created a more rugged version of their flagship phone as we have previously seen an Active variant of Galaxy S6 and S7.

All the Active versions of Samsung smartphones ensure that it can tolerate rough cracks especially for those people who are in a habit of always dropping their phones. It features a bulky rather than a slim look, possessing larger screens, more physical buttons and enhanced protection from any kind of fracture.

No official word has been said regarding the release of the upcoming Galaxy S8 Active. But hopefully, it will be released soon after the much awaited Galaxy Note 8.
