After a lot of reports regarding the battery explosion incidents, Samsung has finally suspended the production of its Galaxy Note 7. According to the company, it has halted the production to co-operate with the consumer safety regulators of the United States, South Korea, and China.
“This measure includes halted production at a Samsung plant in Vietnam that is responsible for global shipments (of the Galaxy Note 7),” Samsung said.
According to the analysts, Samsung brought a dangerous and harmful device to the market. There are some reports that this device has caused the damages to the cars and the houses as well.
“Please be advised of some updates to the Samsung Note 7 Global Exchange program. Samsung has temporarily paused the supply of new Galaxy Note7 smartphones following a reported incident in a replacement phone in the US. Samsung is confident in the replacement Note7 and says they have no reason to believe it’s not safe. We’ll let you know the status of your replacement Note7 as soon as we have more information. We have contacted impacted customers to advise them of the delay,” Samsung said in a statement.
Recently, it was reported that even the replacement units of the Note 7 device are exploding. Samsung tried to deny the story and said that its replacement units do not have any kind of faults in them. But now, the company has suspended the production of this phone.
Around 60% of the consumers in the US participated in the recall program by Samsung. The incidents of the explosions of Note 7 device have struck a blow to the reputation of the Samsung, which is the world’s largest smartphone manufacturer.
