Shahrukh Khan, the Bollywood superstar, has suggested organizing three-match series between Peshawar Zalmi and Kolkata Knight Riders.
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) is an IPL (Indian Premier League) team owned by Shahrukh Khan, that has won the champions title twice. Peshawar zalmi recently won the second season of PSL by defeating Quetta Gladiators in a thrilling final held in Lahore.
Shahrukh Khan congratulated the Peshawar Zalmi’s owner Javed Afridi and suggested a three-match series that can be played at a neutral venue, that can be decided once the two governments give them the go-ahead to conduct the proposed series.
According to express Tribune, Javed Afridi also received congratulatory messages from Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and Bollywood actors Sanjay Kapoor and Gulshan Grover. PSL final was viewed not just in Pakistan, but in many parts of the globe where Indians beat Pakistanis in streaming the final online.
Peshawar Zalmi will be traveling to Afghanistan with all the major stars including Shahid Afridi this summer as President Ghani earlier invited the entire the team to Kabul.
