BlackBerry smartphones, one of the most anticipated gadgets of 2017 is yet to be officially launched but the big bosses have given us all a sneak peak at the CES 2017 event. As we previously reported, BlackBerry has a physical keyboard that has been long gone in the Android phones. The unnamed new phone, named as BlackBerry Mercury by the folks on Internet has a new updated Android Software Nougat 7.0 and highly secure encryption.
The BlackBerry and TCL will launch the name and specification of the new smartphone at MWC 2017, happening from February 27 to March 2 but what we’ve uncovered so far is that we are sure to get the retro style back. It has a strong enterprise software and the two companies aim to sell them to different companies and governments that require end-to-end security.
The tactile QWERTY keys according to TechRadar are soft and will also feature a fingerprint sensor tucked into the spacebar of the keyboard. The Nougat 7.0 OS will give the smartphone advanced capabilities to stand tall with other feature phones this year.
Though it is too early to form an opinion about the new smartphone, but the features revealed so far makes it look like a promising phone of 2017.
