Sony released its new Sony XZ Premium at the Mobile World Congress 2017 but since then it has been quiet as there have been no details on pricing or release date.
Sony XZ Premium will be the first smartphone ever to feature a 4K HDR screen and the fastest processor ever, the Snapdragon 835. The premium Qualcomm chipset has yet been included in the newly released Galaxy S8 and Xiaomi Mi6.
Sony has now announced that the XZ Premium will be coming to UK markets by end June which is also the expected time frame when Nokia phones will be arriving in Pakistan. In addition to the black and chrome colors, the phone will release with a new color option, the Bronze Pink, in select markets.
There is no word on the pricing yet, but the inclusion of a load of high-end specs means the device will be in the premium bracket. In addition to the specifications mentioned before, the XZ premium will also come with a 4GB RAM and a 19MP camera capable of shooting slow motion videos at a rate of 960fps.
The slow motion camera on this device will also be an industry first but we may see the inclusion of this technology in other smartphone brands as Sony is working with many other such as Oppo to help them introduce devices like the dual selfie camera Oppo F3 Plus.
