Suzuki Mehran price increases in Pakistan

New prices of Suzuki Mehran

The new prices of Suzuki Mehran’s various variants are:

  • Rs. 679,000 for Mehran VX
  • Rs. 732,000 for Mehran VXR
  • Rs. 749,000 for Mehran VX CNG
  • Rs. 802,000 for Mehran VXR CNG

The price hike could also be credited to the addition of new security feature whereas the variants of Mehran would now have an Immobilizer. This new feature is a security device which ensures that only the original key will unlock the car, preventing it from being stolen.

Previously, the company revealed its plan to phase out Suzuki Mehran with Alto 660cc from next year. The company has seen a massive 53% drop in its profit which is being linked to the company’s decreasing sales.

Last week the company increased the prices of all its cars in Pakistan and it turns out that it still wasn’t enough for the company. Recently, the government refused to bow down to the company’s pressure and turned down Pak Suzuki’s proposal for incentives under the new auto policy.
