TCL, one of the world’s top three TV brands, celebrated the launch of their C6 UHD TV Series in Pakistan with an extravagant event held here at the Nishat Hotel yesterday.
The Business Consul of People’s Rebulic of China, Mr. Wang Jian, was the chief guest at the glamorous launch event which was widely attended by media personalities and guests from the tech world.
The all-new C6 UHD TV is state of the art television that features almost everything available in the market right now or perhaps one step ahead from the competitors.
It also features AI technology, 4K HD Pro, WCG and a Harmon Kardon sound bar, delivering a powerful in-home entertainment experience in an ultra-slim, edgeless display, Yes, the TV has side bezels of just 7.99mm.
The C6 comes equipped with the Google Assistant, which allows users to control the TV by merely talking to it and built-in Google Chromecast functions. Theses attributes eliminate the need for complicated and time-consuming navigation and allowing users to stream content directly from their mobile devices.
The new TV comes with WCG technology and Micro Dimming function to enhance display quality while the Google Android TV OS gives users the best Smart TV experience along with lots of content to enjoy on the screen.

The price of 49-inch TCL C6 TV is Rs. 99,900 while the 55-inch is going to cost you Rs. 119,900. Last month, discounted prices of the C6 were also available when the company had provided an opportunity to pre-order the units online.
Highlights of the Launch Event
The event was the trendsetter in Pakistan in the television industry. Although it lacked the celebrities and models from the fashion industry of the country, the overall aura created by TCL management was terrific.
A large area was designated at the back, where the audience can freely roam around TVs and indulge in real life experience with TCL’s TV units.
The event was hosted by Taimoor Salahuddin aka Mooroo-the famous vlogger of the country who the invited Mr. Haroon Niazi, senior consulting partner of TCL Pakistan.
Mr. Haroon emphasized that the company is contributing to the national exchequer rapidly, he added, “Technological innovation, a lot of effort in software development, determination, and continuous effort makes it possible to release a couple of televisions sets in one year.”
Ms. Sunny Yang, GM TCL Pakistan later invited to the stage to describe the TCL’s progress in the country and globally while she presented the enormous growth of the company and their state of the art manufacturing facility with the help of slides, videos, and graphs to the audience.
The company also awarded their retail and distribution partners where the idea behind was to encourage the Pakistani companies who worked hard in collaboration with TCL to create a success story.
After that, the chief guest, Mr. Wang Jian said, “China and Pakistan have a good positive relationship, we are delighted to have solid economic ties with Pakistan. TCL’s presence in Pakistan is another remarkable step towards strengthening further the bilateral trade relations between the two countries”.
Later, a proficient product demonstration was presented by Mr. Majid Niazi, Marketing Manager TCL Pakistan who elucidated the full features of C6 TV and also delivered an impressive demo of Google Assistant on the television.
To the audience amusement, the newly launched C6 units came from beneath the stage with the help of hydraulics.
Last but not least, a breathtaking performance was orchestrated by one of Asia’s loudest band, Overload.
The drummer, Farhad Humayun, and Dhol artists made the audience and TCL management and other staff dance on their tempting, and rhythmic beats.
