Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) will offer free training to 3000 young people about Solar Photovoltaic System Power for Generation Course. The 6-month duration Solar Training Course has been successfully launched at 17 cities of the province of the Punjab.
Chairperson of the institute Irfan Qaiser Sheikh was addressing a meeting to review the progress of solar technology training course program. Chief Operating Officer Jawad Ahmed Qureshi and other officers were also present in the meeting.
Irfan Qaiser Sheikh said that the institute had initiated the project by the policy of the Government of the Punjab to meet the energy needs. The said project would help to boost the image of the entity in the whole province of Punjab as it is providing latest technological skills at grass root level in the province.
Chairperson further said that this course is successfully running at TEVTA Institutes located at Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Sahiwal, Sheikhpura, Kasur, Taxila, Chakwal, Sargodha, Attock, Bahawalpur, Multan, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalnagar, Khanewal and Muzaffargarh. No fee is being charged from trainees. Rs. 1000 stipend is also being given to each trainee per month. The qualification of this course is matric and middle with electrician course.
