The numbers are in and according to Yoshiki Konishi, chief engineer for Corolla, Toyota Motor Corporation, Pakistanis love to drive Corolla as the automobile’s sales are number 1 in Asia Pacific and number 4 in the world.
Mr. Konishi revealed this fact in a video message that was played at the unveiling of the 11th generation of Toyota Corolla at the 26th IMC Dealers Conference.
He also appreciated the efforts of IMC for successfully promoting Toyota in Pakistan for the last 26 years. Since the inception of the magnificent car, the Japanese auto giant has sold 44.1 of them globally.
The much-awaited Toyotal Corolla 2017 has been unveiled in the Pakistani market along with its new prices for the consumers.
Ali Asghar Jamali, IMC chief executive officer while talking about the new facelift model car said, “The most beautiful Corolla is here to excite the Pakistani market with new features like push start, smart entry, 16-inch alloys, 9-inch infotainment, new interior, vehicle stability control etc.”
The new car unlike many other automobiles in Pakistan will provide a wide array of security features for the consumers including Dual SRS Air Bag, ISO Fix Seat Anchors, Front seats 3 point ELR with Pre-Tensioner and Force Limiter seatbelts etc.
Earlier this year, the company concerned over the braking issues in its vehicles recalled over 9,000 different variants of its flagship the Toyota Corolla 2016-17. The new facelift model will be available for the consumers from August.
