Software updates can be very tricky sometimes and sometimes bring features that we couldn’t even know were possible because of the hardware limitations just like the GPU Turbo in Huawei phones. This time it’s the Vivo V11 Pro that has received an interesting update which enables it to record 4K videos, a trait possessed by only the flagships until now.
The Funtouch OS based update on Android carries the firmware 1.7.6 and is of 151MB, so we suggest you connect to wifi when downloading so that it doesn’t burden your data plan. Along with security upgradations, the update also brings the 4K video recording option in Vivo V11 Pro.
All this comes with a catch. Though the phone has received such an awesome feature, sadly it doesn’t support stabilization (EIS nor OIS) which means your 4K videos will be very shaky.
Besides that, the update also brings a new Smart Launcher that integrates various services in the form of cards which makes it very easy to create quick actions and shortcuts to several other features.
Vivo V11 Pro launched in Pakistan with some amazing specs and never-seen-before features. It comes as the first phone in Pakistan to have an in-display fingerprint scanner and a pretty good camera setup.
The handset comes with a 6.41-inch screen with 91.27% impressive screen to body ratio. The rear dual camera includes 12MP + 5MP lenses while on the front, the tiny notch hosts the 25MP camera.
Under the hood, the phone packs a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset coupled with a 6GB of massive RAM so that the phone always remains snappy when needed. Alongside that, the phone offers 64GB internal storage which can be enhanced via memory card as the phone provides a dedicated microSD slot.
