Vivo will be announcing its new star in its growing smartphone portfolio, Vivo V9 later this month but apparently it has gotten tired of the guessing game and has joined the business of leaking the specs as it has placed the official renders and the confirmed specs on its website for India.

Vivo V9 almost looks like the device we saw in the previous leaks and will come with Snapdragon 626 chipset, along with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone will have triple slots for 2 SIM cards and one MicroSD card for expandable storage.

The device features 6.3 inches of display with 2,280×1,080 resolution and 19:9 screen aspect ratio.

Since most of Vivo smartphones are all about selfies, Vivo V9 will pack a 24MP front snapper

The front camera will also have AI Face Beauty, gender detection, AR stickers, Face Beauty Video, filters, and HDR support. The rear camera, however, will have dual 16 MP + 5 MP lenses and the device will be powered by 3260mAh battery. It will have Android Oreo right out of the box with Funtouch OS 4.0.

Vivo V9, the successor of Vivo V7, will have a metal unibody with 154.81 x 75.03 x 7.89mm dimensions and will weigh 150g. It will be available in two colors; gold and black. It will be unveiled in India on March 23rd and we can expect the company to bring the same device in Pakistan very soon.

The pricing is not yet confirmed by the company as Vivo India lists INR 10,000,000 the price of the device is most certainly meant as a joke.
