Vivo, the Chinese smartphone giant recently introduced its flagship smartphone, Vivo V9 but has clearly not forgotten its budget smartphone users and has thus launched new Vivo Y71 smartphone.

The smartphone features a large 5.99-inch LCD display with 720×1440 pixels screen resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Vivo Y71 is powered by Snapdragon 450 chipset with 3GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded using a MicroSD card.

The smartphone also has a 5MP camera which also works as a Face Unlock scanner for the smartphone, a feature we are quite impressed to see in a budget device though we doubt it will offer the same safety as the current flagship devices.

The back of the Vivo Y71 has a 13MP camera for capturing the passing moments. The device packs a 3360mAh battery and offers the latest Android Oreo OS. In India, it is priced at INR 10,990 (Rs. 19,466 in PKR).

Unlike the new budget device by Samsung, Galaxy Grand Prime Plus 2018, Vivo Y71 offers some decent specs that can compete with Huawei’s new Y7 Prime 2018 smartphone.
