If you communicate with your friends and family members by using the voice calling feature of WhatsApp, then you may experience the facility of video calling very soon. According to some latest details, the Mountain View-based company is working on WhatsApp video calling service.

The voice calling service is available on WhatsApp for many years, but the function of video calling has not been introduced to date. But now, reports are coming that the team has started testing WhatsApp video calling feature.

The option is currently available to the iOS beta testers only, and it is possible that it will be available for everyone in the next update of the app. The next version of WhatsApp will be 2.16.3.525.

The video call icon will be available in the upper-right corner of the chat window. Near the profile image, currently only the voice calling icon is available, but soon, there will be a video calling icon as well.

Recently, a report also revealed that this fully encrypted application is working on a desktop application for Mac and Windows. The world’s most popular instant messaging app has also introduced Web Chat feature last year.

We can say that it will be great if WhatsApp video calling feature is released. Most of the messaging apps such as Skype, WeChat, and LINE are already providing this service for many years.
