Xiaomi India sales half a million phones

Xiaomi India claims that it has sold more than 500,000 of phones between October 1 and 3. the figures are really exciting for Xiaomi because the company has set a new record by selling more than half a million of phones in three days.

On Amazon and Flipkart, the top-selling products were the Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime, Mi Band 2 and Mi Power Bank.

Head of Xiaomi India Manu Jain said, “We are extremely proud to be sharing this milestone with our fans, partners, and employees. More than six months of rigorous planning and hard work has helped us set a new benchmark in the industry. Last year we sold more than half a million phones in 30 days during the month of October, and this year we were able to achieve a similar number within three days. Based on what we know, no other brand has ever achieved this in India.”

Xiaomi was launched in India in 2014 and since then its customers are increasing. According to the IDC, Xiaomi is now the third largest smartphone manufacturer in India. Its Redmi Note 3 is the highest shipped phone ever in the country’s online stores.

Recently, Xiaomi launched Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus. This announcement surprised the fans as the Mi 5 was also launched just a few months ago, but the new versions come with great features at a low price once again. It was also reported earlier that Xiaomi had sold more than 2.3 million Redmi Note 3 since its release.

This number is expected to increase with the release of the Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus. These phones won’t probably be launched in the United States like the older phones. Mi 5s features a fingerprint scanner while Mi 5s Plus comes with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and a dual camera.
