Xiaomi has finally confirmed the date of Mi Mix 2S launch event i.e. 27th March and surprisingly, it coincides with the launch of flagship devices by another Chinese smartphone brand, Huawei.
According to the official teaser posted by Xiaomi on Chinese social media site Weibo, the launch will take place in Shanghai, China.
Unfortunately, we cannot gather anything else from the poster as it only outlines the shape of the smartphone.
Based on the poster, we can expect very thin bezels on all sides of the device but on the whole, it may not look a lot different from its predecessor Mi Mix 2.
The company has already confirmed that the new flagship device will come with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. As we reported earlier, the teasers of Mi Mix 2S hints that the device will boast some AI camera capabilities which will make it stand out amongst the competition.
According to the leaked firmware of the smartphone, Mi Mix 2S will come with scene recognition technology which can identify various scenes to enhance photographic experience.
The smartphone is expected to come in two variants, 6GB and 8GB where one of them will carry a massive 256GB of internal memory (our money is on the 8GB variant). Additionally, it will have a 6.01 inches screen with a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels, 16MP front camera, and 340mAh or 4000mAh battery.
