Nando’s is a Portuguese restaurant; hence everything you see on the menu here is purely chicken. This may not be a spot for Beef lovers, because even all burgers and steaks are made of chicken fillets! However, if you want to treat yourself to some quality chicken dishes, then I suggest you dine in at Nando’s for lunch. This casual diner has a busy routine because of the mutual love people share towards it. Regardless, the food is always steam fresh for its customers which is the best thing.

2. Rina’s Kitchenette:
Rina’s Kitchenette opened up in Gulberg hardly a year ago. Initially, it was only located in Y Block, DHA, and often thought to be the place where you can get the best desserts from! However, let me assure you, their food is incredible too. I love going to Rina’s Kitchenette for lunch because of how sunny and pleasant it looks during that time! Their pizzas and sandwiches are to die for. The servers at Rina’s are quite helpful. Whenever I want to try a new dish there, I make sure I consult with one of the servers, and I have always been guided in the best way! The food is always fresh, and it smells great too.
Rina’s Kitchenette is quite affordable, which is just a cherry on top for having great food, a nice ambiance, and fantastic service. You can get yourself a nice meal and drinks for about Rs. 1000 here. A plus point I see here is that you can have some incredibly amazing desserts at Rina’s after your meal too!

3. Jade Cafe:
Whenever someone talks about “Jade Cafe,” they always associate it with being a place with the best pizzas and burgers in town. I second that thought! Jade Cafe is such a lively restaurant to hang out at, especially during lunchtime. It is located next to China Town on Kasuri Road, Gulberg. The ambiance of Jade Cafe is just lovely, with the interior of the restaurant extremely chic.

4. Bamboo Union
Bamboo Union is a Pan Asian cuisine restaurant, opposite Mall One in Gulberg. The restaurant started with just Chinese and Thai food on its menu. However, in the past year, Bamboo Union has widened its cuisine horizons and has introduced a Japanese menu as well!
The restaurant is a casual dine-in, which is why I think it’s a perfect place for having lunch. The ambiance is terrific, it is never too noisy, the servers are always polite, and honestly, I’ve never had a bad experience at Bamboo Union ever! The food is always fresh, and their Sticky rice is the best I’ve ever had! You’ll get a wide range of options to choose from in their menu, with dishes of chicken, beef, and even seafood. If you consider ordering from the Chicken and Beef Pan Asian menu, you’re expected bill may be around Rs. 1200 with a main course and drinks. 5. Cosa Nostra
Cosa Nostra is an Italian Restaurant, with an interior that gives you a proper Italian feel. It’s a lovely cozy place, with seating inside under the roof and outside in the open air as well. The menu includes an all Italian cuisine, ranging from pizzas and all kinds of pasta to burgers and sandwiches with an Italian touch to them. What’s amazing about Cosa Nostra is how they have managed to use authentic Italian recipes and blended them perfectly into our local taste – this is the reason why Cosa is one of the best places with Italian cuisine in Lahore today. For me, Cosa Nostra is a great place to have lunch if you’re in Gulberg. The menu is vast, and on average you’ll have to spend Rs. 1500 per person (if you’re not going for the Cosa Nostra specials) for your main course and drinks.
